LOUISVILLE, KY – A different kind of exercise event is coming to Louisville in a little over a week. If you’re into music, radical colors and living a healthy lifestyle, make sure to clear your schedule for The Glo Run.
According to TheGloRun.com, the 5k course run will take place on the evening of May 25 at Riverfront Park in downtown Louisville. This run/walk on ‘funroids’ promises to provide a sensory overload free from clock times with simulating areas along the course.
“Experience extreme glow while running through black lights. Get your dance strut going with the on course DJs. See the craziness of vibrant lasers and a rainbow of lighting effects. Everything’s more exciting at night.”
Participants will receive a fluorescent, glow-in-the-dark printed shirt, lots of glow swag to include necklaces, sunglasses and bracelets, an event bib number, pictures which can be purchased online after the event and a Finish Line Fest full of music.
While there is no age restriction, The Glo Run will take place at night so children under 12 must have an adult sign up with them. No dogs or strollers are allowed as they may cause interference.
